Just read on ars that T-Mobile will be first to market with cellphones that can do VoIP when there’s a wifi network around (or even a T-Mobile hotspot — clever).   I’ve been preaching that this is how it should be for a long time, and it sounds like T-Mobile will be getting my business once they roll this out.  It will be interesting to see how Verizon responds, especially given their lawsuit against Vonage.  Interesting times for telephony, hopefully the consumers win.
