From everything I’ve seen and experienced, AdSense as we know it is no longer a viable option. For everyone that wants to make money blogging, it seems like PayPerPost is the way to go. It’s so much easier to use, and it actually pays. I’ve personally have had a hard time even getting registered with AdSense, let along getting paid. PerPerPost is so much easier, and you’re in control – you choose which opportunities to take, not the other way around.

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’ve been following the recent drama regarding ads on blogs. While I can’t prove it, I have a sneaking suspicion that they’re going to start an MMORPG. Hear me out on this — they’re building a community of users that go on quests to gain points. It’s only a matter of time before we’ve got avatars, and we go on group missions to raise a barn or slay a dragon. What do you all think?

Because Is Lost a Repeat has been experiencing such fame, I decided it was time to start looking into PPC. This stuff is lot more complicated than I thought it would be. After all my searchign, PPC Austin has been constantly coming up as a big player in the market. Besides my love of Austin, TX, these guys know what they’re talking about, and provide an amazing level of service. Kudos to them!

Just dugg [digged?] this article and I think it does a good job of rebutting a lot of the knee-jerk reactions regarding PayPerPost. It’s easy for Scoble or TechCrunch to scoff at the idea of getting paid to speak your mind, because they can rest on the laurels of their traffic and ad revenue. But what about all the people that are diligently browsing the web every day? They have opinions, too, and maybe now they can spend part of their day blogging for dollars. Think about it this way: who wouldn’t want to make money blogging?
