Webservices and rails

Since DHH’s recent keynote, the rails world has been buzzing with talk of webservices and REST. Oh, but no one knows what’s going on with ActiveResource, the keystone of this new REST consumption. I’ll admit that I don’t frequent the boards/IRC like others, but it seems like there’s been too much activity for no blogging.

Does anyone know what the latest news is? When will AR hit Edge? Will ActiveResource make it into 1.2? Ruby on Railsists are dying to find out!
